



Jan-Niklas Beste will spend the next two seasons at SSV Jahn Regensburg. The 21-year-old full back has joined the Bavarian second division club on loan. Frank Baumann confirmed the deal on Thursday morning.
Jan-Niklas Beste will spend next season on loan at FC Emmen. Sporting director Frank Baumann confirmed on Tuesday that the 20-year-old full-back will join the Eredivisie side for the 2019/20 campaign.
SV Werder were missing four players during their team training on Wednesday. Philipp Bargfrede and Ludwig Augustinsson trained individually, while Fin Bartels also missed out on team training.
The Werder players arrived back in Germany on Sunday, and began preparations for Saturday’s game against Hannover 96 this afternoon. Jojo Eggestein returned to action, having missed the last few training sessions and the game against the Bidvest Wits. The whole squad trained, barring a trio of missing players.
SV Werder currently have scored 13 goals this season, the fifth most in the league. Werder also have the most players who have scored, with the number being nine. The trend follows on the international stage. The Werder players showed how dangerous they were in attack for their respective countries with Yuya Osako, Josh Sargent and Jan-Niklas Beste all scoring for their teams.
