Austria's U21 side with Florian Grillitsch in the starting line-up secured a somewhat fortunate victory. SV Werder Bremen recorded an 8-1 friendly match victory at Kickers Emden. Aaron Johannsson had already claimed a first-half hat-trick with Lennart Thy on target twice in the opening 45 minutes. Confirmed fixture schedule

The DFL have confirmed the dates and kick-off times for all Bundesliga matches until the end of November. Werder Bremen will play four times on Saturday and three times on Sunday.
