Florian Kohfeldt: “Hannover are a top second-division side and one of the toughest sides we could've drawn. It'll be a bit feisty too as a northern derby, but we look forward to it and will relish being favourites.”
Frank Baumann: “It will be an interesting game in Hannover and it’s a difficult draw against an ambitious second-division side. It will be an intense game and we'll have to be at our best, but we're determined to progress to the next round.”
Niclas Füllkrug: "Wow. I'm really looking forward to the game. I hope I'll be fit so I can enjoy playing in my hometown, but it is a shame that it'll be held behind closed doors. I have friends at the club so it will be a special game for me."
Niklas Moisander: “A tough draw. Even though it will probably be held behind closed doors, it’ll be an interesting derby. We're definitely the favourites and we want to progress, but we know we'll have to perform well to do that.”
Theodor Gebre Selassie: “It’s nice that we’re not playing far away from Bremen. We’ll be the favourites. Cup games are always special and we want to progress.”
Maximilian Eggestein: “For me personally, it’s a great draw as we’ll be playing in my hometown. That’s why it will be a special game for me.”
