The next Bundesliga game on the schedule against Union Berlin is already nearly here, but before that is the DFB-Pokal game against Dortmund, and Florian Kohfeldt says he shouldn’t have to nurse anyone through the game. “It would be crazy to think otherwise. We want to win the game and so we’ll field players who are fit and ready,” said Kohfeldt.

The gap between the two Bundesliga games is big enough for anyone to recover from little injuries suffered against Augsburg. Bittencourt, Toprak and Moisander should be back. We have no new injuries to worry about,” said Kohfeldt.

Even better, Sebastian Langkamp could be back in the squad after his knee problem. “He will try it out today, but it’s looking better than we thought,” explained the Werder coach. Kohfeldt can also rely on Stefanos Kapino and Milos Veljkovic after both have returned from injury.
