Before we reach the last few games of the Bundesliga season, there is another international break to go. 12 Werder players have been called up to their national sides, with some playing qualification matches for the Euros.

Maximilian Eggestein has reason to celebrate after being called up to the Germany first team for the first time. Joachim Löw’s side play a friendly against Serbia in Wolfsburg on Wedesday 20th March followed by a Euros qualifier against the Netherlands in Amsterdam on 24th March.
