Werder Bremen will once again be able to call on Jiri Pavlenka, ahead of their upcoming away game against Bayern München. Pavlenka is back just in time to face first-place Bayern, as head coach Florian Kohfeldt shared on Thursday. “There’s no doubt that Jiri will be able to play,” Kohfeldt said.

Pavlenka picked up a minor injury against SC Freiburg and was subbed off at halftime. But, Werder’s keeper will be back between the posts against Bayern München on Saturday (15:30 CEST).

Midfielder Philipp Bargfrede could also make the trip to Munich. “Bargi is another option for us, and will take part in training today,” Kohfeldt said. Bargfrede missed out on the last four matches due to a thigh injury. “Things are looking good for Jojo as well. Only Fin will not be able to play,” Kohfeldt said about Johannes Eggestein and Fin Bartels.
