Selassie came on at half-time but did not start well. A poor pass from the Czech right-back allowed Roberto Firmino to start a counter in which Brazil equalized from. A double from Gabriel Jesus in the final minutes of the game meant that Brazil won.
In Bournemouth, the Germany U21s faced a very hard game against England U21s. The young Germans began the game well and could have taken the lead early on through Luca Waldschmidt. In the 27th minute however, they were celebrating as Dahoud put them 1-0 up. Shortly before half-time however, England equalized to make it 1-1. Felix Uduokhai scored the winner in the second half for the Germany U21s. Johannes Eggestein came on with ten minutes to go.
The Germany U19s needed to win their final game against Hungary in order to keep their U19 Euro qualification hopes alive. Jean-Manuel Mbom and Luca Plogmann both started and played the entire game. Yeboah scored twice as Guido Streichsbier’s team went into half-time with a healthy lead. The victory was sealed late on when Herrmann scored to make it 3-0. Nevertheless, Germany U19s missed out on the Euros as Norway beat Croatia 2-1..
