English top club FC Fulham is coming to Weser Stadium on Sunday with the test match serving as the highlight of the Day of the Fans 2013. Robin Dutt's team will be looking for revenge for their 5-1 loss to Fulham in England in 2010 and also provide another strong showing after their 6-0 victory over Rot-Weiß Erfurt.

FC Fulham may have finished the 2012-13 season 12th on the Premier League table but they definitely want to move up the table this season. And the English side has definitely added some strong personnel, including a number of familiar faces from the Bundesliga in Sascha Riether, Ashkan Dejagah and Dimitar Berbatov. Other top names in the Fulham side are John Arne Riise, Damien Duff and Holland national team keeper Maarten Stekelenburg.

The last showdown between these teams is enough to show that it won't be an easy task for Werder. The Green-Whites lost a test match in August 2010 5-1 against Fulham in London despite leading 1-0 at half-time. That's just another reason to be especially motivated going into the match.

Head coach Robin Dutt would also like to do his part in the team getting revenge. He plans on putting out the best XI that he can for this test match. "The team that will play against Fulham is one that is currently ahead on this day of preparations. Of course the injured players aren't included. But the match on Sunday will show if they are still ahead in regards to the cup start in Saarbrücken," said the 48-year-old Werder coach.

Those who want to experience the "Day of the Fans" live in the stadium, not miss Dutt's current starting line-up and watch a high level international friendly can still purchase tickets and spend an unforgettable afternoon in and around Weser Stadium.
