Before Werder Bremen kick off the new Bundesliga season on Saturday 6 August 2011 at 3:30 p.m. against Kaiserslautern, the Green-Whites have a final test match Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m. Werder will welcome English Premier League side FC Everton to Weser Stadium.
The Green-Whites have faced the "Toffees" just one time in a test match as they played to a 2-2 draw in the summer of 2007 at Goodison Park. Boubacar Sanogo and Per Mertesacker scored the goals for Bremen.
Broadcast: The TV station Eurosport will be broadcasting the match live from Weser Stadium. WERDER.TV subscribers will also be able to watch some of Werder's final test before the start of the Bundesliga as the club-run TV channel will show highlights of the game. Some 10,000 tickets have been sold for this match. There are still tickets available for this German-English showdown. Those who cannot be at the stadium or watch it live on television can follow it live on the Ticker starting at 7:15 p.m. It can also be called up on smart phones at mobil.werder.de.
