Finally another home match! After four weeks, the Bundesliga atmosphere will return to Weser Stadium! After suffering losses at offensive-minded Borussia Dortmund and Borussia Möchengladbach, SV Werder hope to return to their winning ways. The Green-Whites will be welcoming Eintracht Frankfurt in the second Bundesliga home match of the 2013-14 season on Saturday 14 September 2013 at 3:30 p.m.
As always, WERDER.DE compiled the most important facts to the match:
Did you know ...
... that Eintracht Frankfurt are currently on a negative run? Spanning the past season, Frankfurt have collected just one victory in their last six Bundesliga games (two draws and three defeats).
... that it's about time to win against Frankfurt again? The Green-Whites have not left the pitch as winner in their last six showdowns (three draws, three defeats).

... that neither team has scored as much this season as they usually do? Werder have averaged 0.75 goals in their first four Bundesliga matches this season. Frankfurt have only been marginally better (1 goal scored per match).
... that the match could turn into a fireworks show? Frankfurt coach Armin Veh has faced Werder 13 times as coach at Rostock, Stuttgart, Wolfsburg, Hamburg and Frankfurt. An incredible 57 goals were scored in those games, an average of 4.38 goals per game.
... that the match could be the debut of two last-minute acquisitions? Werder's second Argentinean acquisition Santiago Garcia, signed just before the end of the transfer window, could make his debut in Bremen kit. Frankfurt also added a player at the end of the transfer period, picking up on a loan the experienced Tranquillo Barnetta (previous Bayer Leverkusen, Schalke) as a player to provide some creativity.
... what Robin Dutt thinks of the opponents from Frankfurt? "I have a very high opinion of the opponents. Many experts would agree with me that Frankfurt did a tremendous job after promotion and had the courage to change the promoted team. After all, in the end, they finished the season in the international ranks. I think the three points Frankfurt have collected thus far don't say much. They are a very strong team, attack well and developed their game tactically and brought in good alternatives personnel-wise. It was no coincidence that they were as high in the standings as they were last year and that they will have their say in the international spots this season as well. Despite all the praise, we are playing at home and hope to keep a clean sheet. We are optimistic that we can beat every opponent in our own stadium.
