All of the German football world are talking these days about the new German champions and congratulating Borussia Dortmund for the title with two weeks remaining in the season. But the question remains if Dortmund will be as concentrated for the final two matches as usual. The bosses at Werder Bremen do not doubt it in the least. "Everyone who thinks now that we will get gifts from Dortmund are wrong. Dortmund have been highly professional all season and I cannot imagine that they will be any different in the final two matches," warned manager Klaus Allofs ahead of Werder's final home match of the season.

Head coach Thomas Schaaf is also aware of the danger. When the game kicks off on Saturday 7 May 2011' at 3:30 p.m. in front of 40,600 in a sold out Weser Stadium, Schaaf expects from Dortmund "a performance like they have shown all season". That means both concentrated defensive work (the table leaders have allowed just 19 goals this season) and a strong push forward to offence (the second-best attack in the league).

Intense resoluteness needed

Regardless of the opponents' skill and class, Schaaf warned at the official press conference that his team cannot worry about Dortmund. "We will be making a fundamental error if we only talk about this opponent. What's important is what we do - how we improve our situation. We only need to worry about ourselves, everything else is secondary."

"We have to be good. We must be better than last weekend. We have to be concentrated and not worry about in what condition Dortmund appear," said Allofs. Dortmund coach Jürgen Klopp is doing his best that his team is in top condition after first the celebrations and then three days without training. "We want to finish the season off at a strong level," said Klopp. Dortmund's lat two training sessions took place without spectators, giving a clear signal that the team does not want to get caught up with the overwhelming euphoria ahead of the next match
