Clemens Fritz is back on board: That was the most important message from Werder's final training Friday afternoon ahead of the away match against VfL Wolfsburg (Saturday, 24 November 2012, 3:30 p.m.). The SV Werder captain is back on the Green-Whites roster for the first time since the seventh game day. "Everything is okay. I didn't have any problems where the injury was so I'm back," was the short message from the 31-year-old after the session.

Head coach Thomas Schaaf initially nominated only 17 players for the match at VfL Wolfsburg. The Bremen coach said another centre back could possibly travel to the game. "We will wait until the U23 game, which takes place tonight and then decide if we will bring an additional player," said the 51-year-old, who will definitely miss Assani Lukimya against the "Wolves". The 26-year-old is suspended for the match after seeing a yellow-red card in the game against Fortuna Düsseldorf.

This is the (initially) 17-man roster for the match at VfL Wolfsburg: Mielitz, Wolf - De Bruyne, Arnautovic, Fritz, Ekici, Elia, Schmitz, Hunt, Prödl, Junuzovic, Ignjovski, Akpala, Sokratis, Gebre Selassie, Petersen, Füllkrug.
