Werder keeper Tim Wiese left the German national team headquarters in Vienna Saturday morning to fly back home to his family. The 29-year-old will not travel with Germany to the Euro2012 qualification match against Azerbaijan in Baku on Tuesday (7 p.m. live on ARD) due to an illness in his family. That leaves Germany with just 16 field players and two keepers for their final international of the season.

On Saturday, all the German internationals went through regeneration and intensive treatment by the medical department at the team's hotel. German national team Joachim Löw will discuss the current physical situation with the German team doctors late Saturday night.
