It's halftime for the "Werder Jersey on Tour" campaign as the new Werder jersey has been on the road for the past 20 days, being put on and taken off, admired and evaluated all along the way. It's been 20 days of sun, rain, thunder storms, asphalt, fields, boat piers. There also have been a shopping mile, a dune, a big city, a small village and a stadium. And always new faces! Loads of highlights and numerous experiences, Norderney, Erfurt, Donaueschingen!

"The preparations for the players have been pretty tough but the time for this jersey has been almost just as tough. It's been a real challenge," joked Bano Diop from the agency Drewes & Keretic, which has accompanied the "Werder Jersey on Tour"-Volkswagen. The past 20 days have been interesting, fun and informative. "Altogether the shirt was swapped 1,097 times and worn about 700 kilometres. The campaign has been superbly received everywhere and we have been very warmly welcomed - almost as if they had known us for ages," said the 25-year-old Diop.

Parallel to the team, the jersey has spent the past couple weeks in Thuringia, Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt. "We were in Erfurt, Dresden, Leipzig and Chemnitz - all beautiful cities. It was especially funny in the smaller villages. The people were just overjoyed that their club actually came to them and they proudly wore the jersey through their village," said Diop. The tour of the Green-Whites' new jersey has finished its tour of eastern Germany and had reached Lake Constance by Monday night.
