Klaus Allof stood on the Weser Stadium training grounds Wednesday morning during which the manager watched the 17 players practice; discussed some things with head coach Thomas Schaaf; congratulated Tim Borowski to his 32nd birthday; and cleared up why some players were missing. "Niclas Füllkrug is banged up and Denni Avdic took a hit yesterday," said Allofs. Claudio Pizarro was also not on hand after leaving training early on Tuesday. But there were still some players who will return to team training before the final match of the season. "Naldo and Marko Arnautovic will be back tomorrow or the day after," said Schaaf.
Arnautovic completed only an individual training Wednesday afternoon due to his adductors problems, but the Austrian was optimistic afterwards. "I don't have any pain. Tomorrow morning I will test if it's okay and then hopefully train with the team in the afternoon," said Arnautovic.
Aleksandar Ignjovski, who took a knock to his ankle in the game against Stuttgart, is also on his way back. "I expect to get back to team training tomorrow," said the Serbian player.
