SV Werder Bremen have extended their coaching staff to include a video-analyst. The position amongst trainer Robin Dutt's team will be filled by Peer Jaekel, who had been active in the Green-White's ‚Scouting‘ department.
The new assistant trainer in Robin Dutt's team will be able to provide his colleagues with precise video analysis as he takes his place amongst the coaching staff: „I am of the opinion that a good video-analyst needs to be closer to the team in order to understand our football philosophy. In Peer Jaekel we have found a highly competent employee within our own ranks, who is technically capable and has a good eye for detail," said Dutt.
Peer Jaekel is 31 years old and has been active with the SV Werder Bremen ‚Scouting‘ department since the 2008/2009 season. The football expert is married and has one daughter. Jaekel previously played his footballing trade at Werder's own performance academy, playing for the Green-Whites at ‘Under 19' and ‘Under 23' level.
