Werder Bremen will play three test matches during their training camp from 3-11 January 2011 in Belek, Turkey. In their first match of the new year, the Green-Whites will take on Turkish league leaders Trabzonspor. Senol Günes’s team is atop the Turkish SüperLig after 17 game days. The match is scheduled for Wednesday, 5 January 2011 at Mardan Palace Stadium in Kundu. The kickoff time has not yet been set.
Werder have another test match three days later on Saturday, 8 January 2011 as head coach Thomas Schaaf’s team will face off with German second division leaders MSV Duisburg and coach Milan Sasic. Bremen will finish off their eight-day training camp with a game against Turkish club Eskisehirspor on Monday 10 January 2011. There are no kickoff times set for the game against Duisburg or the encounter with the 11th-placed side from the SüperLig.
