Life along the Osterdeich continued after the spectacular success in the North Derby. On Sunday morning, head coach Thomas Schaaf had his players just go through a rehab run, training or regeneration program. Even the young goal scorer who shot himself in to the history books had to get out of bed. Tom Trybull, who will turn 19 on 9 March 2012, became the second youngest goal scorer in Werder history with his header just before half-time of the North Derby. Only Aaron Hunt was younger when he scored on 12 February 2005 at 18 years, 161 days against Borussia Mönchengladbach. But that didn't both Trybull at all as he still can hardly believe the occurrences from the weekend.

"It will still take a few days before I can really realise what happened. It was only my fourth time in the starting line-up. But it was an absolutely successful day for the team, for the fans and for me. It was a successful North Derby premiere against a Hamburg side which came out of the break with a lot of anger," said Trybull, who did not even know if his header would make it into the net off of a Zlatko Junuzovic corner. "I just held out my head and looked after it. Honestly, I thought that Jarolim had cleared it before the line. But somehow it worked out - all the better for me."

Now the team has to regain their full concentration looking forward to the up-coming home match against Nuremberg, where the Green-Whites hope to confirm their showing from the derby. One player will definitely not playing against Nuremberg as Sebastian Boenisch will miss the game with a right ankle injury which he suffered in Friday's final training and had to hand over his spot on the 18-man roster for the North Derby to Mikael Silvestre.
