Clemens Fritz and company welcomed the Green-Whites' second winter transfer to team training Tuesday afternoon 31 January 2012 as Zlatko Junuzovic went through his first team session following an individual training a day earlier. "My first training was good and intensive. It was fun," said the 24-year-old Austrian. Junuzovic was unimpressed with the icy temperatures. "I am used to this cold from Austria. It is not a problem for me," said "Juno", who was one of very few Green-Whites players to train in shorts.

Another Werder Austrian Marko Arnautovic once again completed a full training session. "I still have slight pain, but that is normal," said the attacker, who suffered a stomach muscle injury about a week ago. Arnautovic was able to get a look at his compatriot Junuzovic in the 80 minutes of training. "It was his first training. Zlatko first has to work through all the first impressions and meet his new teammates. He was a little nervous, but he is a super player. You could see that from the beginning," said Arnautovic.

Meanwhile, Naldo, Aaron Hunt and Tim Borowski are working on a return to the training grounds. All of them went through individual drills in the fitness room. Due to the poor pitch conditions on the training grounds, the session Wednesday morning 1 February 2012 will be moved to Weser Stadium. Fans will not have access to the training.
