Kroos back, 'Boro' questionable
Felix Kroos was also able to return after recovering from his adductors problems and could be available for the game against St. Pauli. But head coach Thomas Schaaf said Tim Borowski is questionable for the game. "With him we have to be patient a bit. But there is a chance that it will be okay by the weekend," said Schaaf, who in Frankfurt also had to wait until the final second to see if Borowski would be able to play.
2,600 guest tickets sold
Borowski said he definitely wants to be at the away match at Millertor. He has already told Per Mertesacker about the special atmosphere. "Yeah, that's right. Tim told me about it. It supposed to be a special experience because there's always something going on there," said Mertesacker, who has never played at the St. Pauli stadium. Werder will definitely have their fans to count on for support as the entire contingent of 2,600 guest tickets have been sold to Green-Whites fans. And the stadium has been sold out for weeks.
