Werder Bremen's Marko Marin was satisfied about his hip problems following training on Thursday 17 November 2011. "I feel good because I am completely without pain," said Marin. "Of course it's a special game for me. I lived quite some time in the academy right next door to the stadium in Gladbach and know everyone there."
Also back on the training pitch was Naldo after overcoming his bronchitis and was able to fully train. "Everything worked fine at training. I felt good, but of course now I have to wait to see how my body reacts to the stress," the Brazilian told WERDER.DE afterwards. "But I will continue to relax tonight and drink some tea. I am optimistic that there will not be any reaction." It will be decided after training Friday if the centre back will be able to play on Saturday.
Two other returnees to training were the Austrian internationals Marko Arnautovic and Sebastian Prödl, who arrived in Bremen Wednesday night after their return flight from Ukraine was cancelled due to heavy fog. Not yet back in the Hanseatic city however was Claudio Pizarro. The Peruvian will arrive tonight, head coach Thomas Schaaf said.
