Mikael Silvestre returned to training on Thursday afternoon 16 February 2012 after Marko Marin came back to training a couple weeks ago. Tim Borowski is increasing his individual program bit by bit while Denni Avdic is once again completing parts of team training. Even Sebastian Prödl went through his first interval training. Only Aaron Hunt (adductors injury) and Naldo (anterior ligament injury) have not been spotted on the Weser Stadium training grounds in the past few weeks. "They are not available," said Werder head coach Thomas Schaaf ahead of the North Derby against Hamburg on Saturday.

Schaaf also does not expect Naldo and Hunt to be on the training grounds in the coming days either. "We don't need to worry about these two players. At the moment, it doesn't look like they will be back in the coming weeks," said Schaaf at Thursday's official press conference.
