Sebastian Prödl had to sit out of training Tuesday due to muscular problems in his left thigh which the Austrian suffered in the test match against VfL Osnabrück. But the 24-year-old does not believe he will miss the opener of the second half against Borussia Dortmund. "It feels a lot better and looks good. It's more of a precautionary measure. I hope that I can return tomorrow or the latest the day after," said Prödl.
Eljero Elia meanwhile gave the all-clear after he had left the pitch with a limp in the 67th minute. The Dutchman was able to complete the rundown in the morning without a problem and
Philipp Bargfrede, for his part, has undergone his operation and is already in rehab training. "I feel good and don't have any pain. But still, I have to be on crutches for another 10 to 14 days and cannot really do that much, other than some upper body training," said Bargfrede, who left the training camp in Belek two days earlier than his teammates. The 23-year-old suffered a torn meniscus in the test match against VfL Wolfsburg.
