The 4-4 draw in the first half against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim was certainly one of the most breathtaking matches of the season for Werder fans. The Green-Whites twice came back from two-goal deficits to pick up the draw with Philipp Bargfrede equalising in stoppage time.

But Bargfrede needed plenty of attempts before finally reaching that "super moment" - as Bargfrede himself described his first goal. He had to wait until his 88th Bundesliga appearance before finally finding the back of the net for the Green-Whites. But the 25-year-old seems to have enjoyed the sensation as he hit a second goal in the 2-0 victory at Nuremberg.

That makes it all the better that Bargfrede is fit in time for the return match against Hoffenheim. While he missed Sunday's training after the Mainz match due to a muscular problems, the Werder midfielder completed the entire training Monday afternoon. That means the chances are good that he could have another chance to score a goal against Hoffenheim on Saturday - even though scoring is not the main thing for him. "Of course it would be great if I were to score against Hoffenheim. But the main thing is that we get three points," said Bargfrede.

While head coach Robin Dutt will likely have the services of Bargfrede, Aleksandar Ignjovski is still questionable. After missing the Mainz match with another stomach muscle strain, he went through an individual running program with Felix Kroos. In addition, Levent Aycicek was also missing from the training session. The 20-year-old is labouring under a bruised right foot and it's unclear if he will be fit in time for the Hoffenheim match.
