The drop in temperatures the past few days and the typical Bremen fall weather caused Aaron Hunt to come down with a cold which kept the midfielder out of training Monday afternoon 10 October 2011. Assistant coach Wolfgang Rolff said Hunt would be out one or two days.

There was a bit more action on the pitch compared to recently as Werder's U20 German internationals Lennart Thy, Florian Trinks and Clemens Schoppenhauer returned from their national team duty, which featured victories over Italy (3-2) and Switzerland (4-1, see extra news).

Werder's remaining internationals are in action with their national teams on Tuesday and expected back in Bremen on Wednesday - with the exception of Claudio Pizarro, who is with the Peruvian team in Chile. Hopes are that Hunt will be able to kick around the Weser Stadium training grounds as well.
