After his team's 3-2 victory over Carl Zeiss Jena, Werder coach Thomas Schaaf had his team take a bike ride Thursday afternoon for a bit of regeneration.

Zlatko Junozovic also was riding the bike, though not with his teammates but rather in the weight room of Weser Stadium. "At the moment, I am receiving intensive treatment, swimming and training on the bike," said the Austrian, who was injured in the final match of the season against Schalke. "Nothing much has happened. Regarding the swelling and the pain, it's gotten a lot better. Now we have to wait."

But "Juno" is confident that he will get back to team training soon. "It's my goal to train again with the guys by the middle of next week. There are still some tests with the Austrian national team. I would like to be there," said Junuzovic.
