The motto for the start of the training week for head coach Robin Dutt was: "Pick everybody back up". While Theodor Gebre Selassie, Sebastian Prödl, Zlatko Junuzovic and Martin Kobylanski are all on national team duty, Tuesday saw a differentiated and individual training program for the Green-Whites.

The reasoning was that "the team went to their limits on Saturday. We will have a manageable intensity. We could possibly play some light match-formations," said the coach.

While Eljero Elia sat out Tuesday's afternoon training with a foot injury, Assani Lukimya (hip problems) and Cedrick Makiadi (ligament injury) will both miss the entire week. "With ‘Luki' it's still up in the air. Cedrick however will likely not return this week," said Dutt.

Phillip Bargfrede and Özkan Yildirim were both sighted on the training grounds going through individual running sessions. It's unclear when they can fully return to team training.
