The Green-Whites will be battling for three points on Saturday in Stuttgart at 3:30 p.m. A look at the statistics show why the signs look good for Bremen and why it will be a special match for head coach Robin Dutt...

Did you know ...

... that Bremen have good chances of collecting points? In the last five matches against Stuttgart, Werder have secured two victories and two draws. The only defeat came in a 4-1 loss in April 2012.

... that there will very likely be goals scored in the match? Werder and Stuttgart are facing off for the 95th time in the Bundesliga. Altogether the teams have scored 311 goals in those matches, the second-most in any Bundesliga match-up. Only the games between Dortmund and Hamburg have produced more goals - 337.

... that Werder will likely score at least one goal against Stuttgart? The Green-Whites have scored more goals against Stuttgart (162) than against any other Bundesliga club.

... that Stuttgart are not a powerhouse at home? Stuttgart have won just one of their last five Bundesliga home matches (two draws, two defeats).

... that the Green-Whites must especially watch out on Stuttgart's set pieces? Stuttgart have already scored six goals on set pieces - the best in the league alongside Hamburg. Werder however can hold their own against opposing set pieces, having not conceded a goal on a set piece this season - Bayern Munich being the only other club who have done that.

... what Robin Dutt thinks of VfB Stuttgart? "Stuttgart are improving. They have collected a lot of points recently and scored a lot of goals. It will be a very difficult and special match for me. The game basically is taking place in front of my house door."

... that Peter Sippel will be the referee of the match? The 44-year-old is a master of business administration from Munich.
