SV Werder Bremen's schedule for the winter is taking shape as head coach Thomas Schaaf will call his team back to training for the first time in the new year on Tuesday 3 January 2012.

The Green-Whites will once again head to Belek, Turkey for their training camp in preparations for the second half of the Bundesliga. The team will be on the Turkish Riviera from 4-12 January, 2012. There are not yet any test matches planned during the training camp.

In addition, Werder will take on second division side Hansa Rostock on Tuesday 17 January 2012. No kickoff time has been announced.

The 2012 winter preparations in overview:
Tues. 03 January 2012, 10 a.m.: Winter preparations start
Wed. 04 January 2012: Start of training camp in Belek, Turkey
Thurs. 12 January 2012: End of training camp in Belek, Turkey
Sun. 15 January 2012, 2 p.m.: Wintercup 2012 tournament, semi-finals Borussia Dortmund - Fortuna Düsseldorf and SV Werder Bremen - Borussia Mönchengladbach
Tues. 17 January 2012, 6 p.m.: Test match Hansa Rostock - SV Werder Bremen at DKB Arena in Rostock
Sat. 21 January 2012, 6:30 p.m.: Bundesliga, 18th game day, Kaiserslautern - SV Werder Bremen at Fritz Walter Stadium in Kaiserslautern
Sat. 28 January 2012, 3:30 p.m.: Bundesliga, 19th game day, SV Werder Bremen - Bayer Leverkusen at Weser Stadium in Bremen
