With Naldo but without Pizarro - these two personnel questions were finally cleared up after the final training session Saturday afternoon 26 November 2011 ahead of the Bundesliga match-up with Stuttgart (live on Sunday starting at 3:15 p.m. with live ticker at WERDER.DE).

Regarding Claudio Pizarro, head coach Thomas Schaaf said nothing has changed from his statement from the official press conference. "The situation has remained the same since yesterday," said Schaaf. The Peruvian, who has been part of 14 of the last 15 goals for Werder, cannot play against Stuttgart because of a knee injury. The hopes for a quick recovery were already slim as Schaaf's statement was on Friday. "There is an injury - and the injury needs its time," said Schaaf.

Now the other Green-Whites strikers come to the forefront with Marko Arnautovic, Markus Rosenberg and Sandro Wagner wanting to use their chance. "We have to do a lot better than what happened last Saturday against Gladbach. That only works if everyone supports each other," said Schaaf.

Defensive boss Naldo can definitely rely on the full support of his colleagues in the back line. The Brazilian is on his way after a hard bout of bronchitis to being 100 percent fit again for the game Sunday 27 November 2011 against Stuttgart. "I was still a little weak on Thursday, but I am very satisfied with Friday. I hope that I can once again help my team," said Naldo.

Thomas Schaaf nominated the following 18 players for the Bundesliga home match against Stuttgart: Wiese, Mielitz, Naldo, Fritz, Wolf, Prödl, Schmitz, Aleksandar Stevanovic, Ekici, Bargfrede, Wesley, Ignjovski, Hunt, Marin, Trinks, Rosenberg, Arnautovic, Wagner
