When Werder Bremen take on promoted side Hertha Berlin on Sunday 25 September 2011 at 5:30 p.m. there will be one Green-Whites player in the spotlight - Sebastian Mielitz.
The 22-year-old will be filling in between the posts for Bremen's suspended top keeper Tim Wiese. "I sense a positive nervousness that I need to get into the game right away. I am happy that I can show my skills and prove myself. I will try to help my team. I am happy that everyone is standing behind me and supporting me. Everyone is holding off on their personal goals, the morale is super. Those are all positive signs for a successful game," said Mielitz.
Definitely back in the mix again are Claudio Pizarro, Marko Marin and Florian Trinks. "They are available again," said head coach Thomas Schaaf after the end of the final training Saturday afternoon, during which the three Werder players participated without pain. And all three are on the squad against Hertha.
Schaaf nominated the following 17 players for the Bundesliga match against Hertha Berlin: Mielitz, Vander, Fritz, Naldo, Wolf, Prödl, Schmitz, Wesley, Bargfrede, Ignjovski, Hunt, Trinks, Marin, Ekici, Arnautovic, Rosenberg, Pizarro
