When Marko Marin took the pitch Friday afternoon 4 November 2011 for final training everything was still okay. But shortly after it started, Werder's playmaker had to leave the session. "Once again, he has some problems with his hip. I am not a doctor so cannot say how bad it is," said head coach Thomas Schaaf after the last training ahead of the Cologne match. "We now have to wait and see if he will be okay for the Cologne match."

The weeks of waiting and having to sit nervous in front of the television screen has come to an end for Marko Arnautovic! The Werder striker has served his three-week suspension and he will be back in the squad for Werder's Bundesliga home match against Cologne on Saturday 5 November 2011 at 3:30 p.m. (live ticker on WERDER.DE starting at 3:15 p.m.). "Marko is healthy and fit. I am very happy to have another player. We had been happy about his performances before the suspension. He brought himself to the forefront. It was definitely very noticeable. I hope that the break did not hurt him," said Schaaf about the return of the 22-year-old.

Schaaf will select 18 players from the following 19 for the Bundesliga home match against Cologne: Wiese, Mielitz, Fritz, Naldo, Sokratis, Wolf, Prödl, Schmitz, Ekici, Bargfrede, Ignjovski, Hunt, Marin, Rosenberg, Pizarro, Arnautovic, Trinks, Wagner, Wesley
