+++ "Lutscher" to celebrate birthday: Torsten Frings will celebrate his birthday on Friday 22 November 2013. The former Werder captain and current coaching trainee, who is serving as a U23 assistant coach, will turn 37. As a note, Frings used to wear No. 22 for Werder because of his birth date. +++

+++ Füllkrug beats Koby in front of big crowd: The German U20 national team beat Poland 1-0 in front of 7,200 spectators in Leczna. The game-winner was scored by Cologne's Maximilian Thiel. Martin Kobylanski played 60 minutes for Poland while his Bremen teammate Niclas Füllkrug was subbed out in the 90th minute. +++

+++ The easier way to cut the grass: The Bremen environmental company has introduced a new lawnmower at Weser Stadium. SV Werder Bremen is the only Bundesliga club using a lawnmower which can cut grass all by itself and is not controlled by human hand. The mower can cut grass for two hours - even in the rain - and in the end hooks back up to the loading station. In addition, it provides the pitch with important nutrients with the short cut. The device does not yet have a name. WERDER.DE is suggesting "Rasi". Other suggestions can be submitted. +++

+++ Ho Ho Hoodies: St. Nicolas is not the only one who wears a hood. And the WERDER FAN WELT shop is offering a 20 percent rebate on all hoodies and sweatshirts until Monday 25 November 2013. It's worth while stopping in! +++
