+++ First steps: There was good news for Theodor Gebre Selassie. The Czech international had sit out the last six weeks due to an oedema in his right thigh. While Werder's No. 23 had only been able to work out in the weight room, Gebre Selassie took the pitch with his colleagues on Sunday for the post-game run down. "It does good to be back on the pitch again. The fact that I can run again is a huge development since my injury. Unfortunately I can't do any sprint drills, but it's very meaningful to get out of the weight room," said Gebre Selassie. In addition to ‘Theo', Eljero Elia also was back on the training grounds after he missed the VfL Wolfsburg match with a gastro intestinal infection. +++

+++ Smile: Fritz, Prödl and Co. will take part in a photo shooting on Tuesday 30 September 2014. As in past years, the players will be posing in pictures for Werder's regional sponsor Roy Robson. +++

+++ Round number for 'Merte': Monday will be a special day for Per Mertesacker as Werder's former centre back will celebrate his 30th birthday. WERDER.DE wishes Per Happy Birthday and all the best! +++
