+++ Improvement, Part I: Aleksandar Ignjovski is fond of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. The Serbian is among the most active Werder players in the world's social media. So, it's only logical that the defender should be asked directly via Twitter about the progress of his rehab. "Better, thanks!" was Ignjovski's prompt but short answer. After a bit more poking, ‘Iggy' provided some more detailed information. "My stomach muscle strain is slowly getting better. Still I don't know yet when I can get back on the pitch. I would like to train again with the guys as fast as possible and give my all," Ignjovski told WERDER.DE. +++
+++ Back on the ball (Improvement, Part II): Also on the way to improvement is Santiago Garcia. The Argentinean returned to running training at the end of last week following his partially torn knee ligament. The current week could see him come back in full to the team. "I am increasing my program day by day and can already do some drills with the ball," said the left back. But Garcia does not want to give a prognosis. "I do not know yet when I will be able to run out there again. I will do everything I can to make that possible as quickly as possible," said Garcia. +++
+++ Trio of anniversaries: Despite the painful 3-1 defeat, there was a small reason to celebrate for a trio of Werder players. Clemens Fritz, Cedrick Makiadi and Assani Lukimya all celebrated anniversaries. With his comeback, Fritz appeared in his 250th Bundesliga match. His defensive colleague Lukimya played in his 50th Bundesliga game - all of them for the Green-Whites. Makiadi was subbed in just before half-time for the injured Felix Kroos for his 200th Bundesliga contest. Congratulations guys! +++
