+++ 17 years, 11 months and 21 days: Since last Saturday, Maximilian Eggestein is the second youngster player in Werder history after only Thomas Schaaf. The youngster started the professional chapter of his career when he was subbed in after 83 minutes in the 4-0 home victory over SC Paderborn. However, even being nominated for the 18-man game roster was a surprise for the young talent. "I didn't even think I would be on the squad. When I got the news that I would be on hand, I was a little surprised at first and even shocked," said Eggestein. The fact that the Hannover native would even make his Bundesliga debut by the end of the day was a "huge experience even though I could hardly believe that they meant me when I was called to the bench," Eggestein told WERDER.DE. The youngster was so nervous that "when the substitution came, I tried my best to play the game as normally as possible." +++

+++ Busch and Obraniak run: While the teammates were running the track at the Bürgerpark, Ludovic Obraniak and Marnon Busch completed an individual session at Weser Stadium. Both of the injured players ran some laps with athletics coach Reinhard Schnittker and were working on their comeback. Get back soon guys! +++

+++ Every bag is unique: The WERDER Fan Welt fan shop is selling bags for a good cause in cooperation with the WERDER BEWEGT support group and the Bremen company Canvasco. Forty euros from the sale of every one of these long-lasting cult bags made of discarded sail canvas goes to the refugee project "Bleib am Ball" ("Stay on the ball"). With the project, Werder Bremen and their partner Refugio support refugees and asylum seekers in Bremen. Canvasco bags can be purchased online in two different sizes or in the WERDER Fan Welt shop at Weser Stadium! +++

+++ Valdez opens restaurant in Bremen: Former Werder player Nelson Valdez is returning to Bremen. However, he is not coming back as a footballer but as the owner of a restaurant at Hugo-Schauinsland-Platz. The Tiroler Hütte opens on 1 December 2014. It is owned by Valdez, who is under contract with up-coming Werder opponents Eintracht Frankfurt, and his parents-in-law. +++
