Once again, it was an experience-filled season for SV Werder. After 34 Bundesliga matches, the Green-Whites ended the 2013-14 season in 12th place. With 39 points, Werder missed their season goal by one point. But head coach Robin Dutt can look back on a respectable season.

+++ Youth serves well: SV Werder was one of the youngest rosters in the entire Bundesliga for the 2013-14 season with an average age of 23.75 years. Only SC Freiburg (23.71 years) and 1899 Hoffenheim (23.55 years) were younger. Davie Selke was the youngest professional this season at 18 years during his debut against Hannover in November while Werder captain Clemens Fritz was the oldest at 33 years. +++
