Franco Di Santo has been back at running training for about a week. He was not at the Tuesday afternoon training because he went through a rehab session. And the hopes are pretty dim that Di Santo will be available for SV Werder this weekend.
"Right now, it looks like there's not much chance that Franco can play against Hannover. The worries are bigger if he's not there, that's clear. But there will be 11 players on the pitch," said head coach Robin Dutt about the personnel problems in the attack.
The Green-Whites' only two nominal strikers Di Santo and Nils Petersen are both likely out injured against Hannover. It remains a question who will be in attack against Hannover. It's a big help that Dutt has one more day of training this week before the next home match against Hannover on Sunday at 5:30 p.m.
