Deficit, equaliser, lead, equaliser, deficit, equaliser: The spectators at Weser Stadium definitely went through a roller-coaster of emotions in the 3-3 draw in the "Small North Derby". "For the spectators it certainly wasn't boring, for me as coach it was less pleasant," said Werder coach Viktor Skripnik. Davie Selke's late goal rewarded the team and the fans for a strong morale but the one point seemed like too little in the end.

WERDER.DE went around the mixed zone after the match and compiled some reaction:

Viktor Skripnik: "That is football. It does hurt and is aggravating. Hannover moved the ball well and showed that they are a good team. But we showed the will and heart and tried everything. Everybody went to their limit and for that a big complement to my team. But we must deal with a lead more solidly and calmly. For the spectators it certainly wasn't boring, for me as coach it was less pleasant."

Clemens Fritz: "That was a very intensive match that we absolutely wanted to win. After their double strike, it was tough for us. But we fought until the end and came back again. With their goals, insecurity certainly plays a role but we are working on that and I hope that can do better with that in the last two matches."

Zlatko Junuzovic: "It's mixed feelings. Of course we were happy about the equaliser and happy that we got the point. But we must play more clever with a lead. With their goals, we penalised ourselves. We fell asleep for two minutes. We were sloppy. When you look at it like that, the draw is bitter for us."

Davie Selke: "We are not satisfied because we absolutely wanted the three points. We cannot just give away the lead so easily. Of course it was nice to have scored the goal to pick up a point but I would have rather had the victory."
