Sebastian Prödl celebrated his Bundesliga return to the pitch in Sunday's unlucky 1-0 loss at Bayer Leverkusen. But the Austrian international has been drawing attention on the internet since the beginning of last week with his own home page. The website, which went online on Monday 8 August 2011, features animation, a video message blog and a new fan forum to upload pictures as well as many other highlights.
"My goal was to create a easy, uncomplicated home page for the fans and users which also would provoke them," said Prödl, who is very satisfied with the results.
"The fans are very important for me. Especially in overheated professional football, it's very important to address the fans' desires and wishes. And I intend on doing that," promised Prödl, who also plans on keeping his supporters up to date with an official Facebook page.
