Werder head coach Robin Dutt revealed at Thursday afternoon's official press conference what the entire Green-Whites world was waiting to know following the return to training on Wednesday of Aaron Hunt - the deputy captain will be able to play against Dortmund on Saturday after missing the match against Augsburg.

"It looks good for Aaron. He will take part in team training today and I assume that he will be available on Saturday. The same goes for Ludovic Obraniak, who has been very well received into the team and has left a good impression in the intensive week of training," said Dutt at the press conference.

Dutt would not say if the two creative playmakers would be in the starting line-up against the Champions League finalists. But the coach did confirm that neither Clemens Fritz nor Mehmet Ekici will play on the weekend. "If everything goes normally, then ‘Memo' and Clemens will return to team training on Sunday after the match. If that's the case, then we can talk about next week if they could maybe play against Gladbach," said Dutt.

Santiago Garcia meanwhile will likely miss two more weeks of training with knee ligament irritation. But the Argentinean will not be available for the next two home matches anyhow as he serves his suspension from the Augsburg contest. "It's good that it overlaps," said Dutt.

There are still two intensive training sessions on the program before Werder take on Dortmund on Saturday 8 February 2014 at 3:30 p.m. Then the team will be called upon to implement Dutt's tactics. "Be courageous, run a lot, be uncomfortable, play confidently and play with all your might and determination against Dortmund," said Dutt.
