While the Werder players completed their morning training session, another player made his way quietly into the changing room. Naldo is back in Bremen. The Brazilian has been back in northern Germany since Sunday with positive news with him. "I am happy to be back here - even if it's naturally colder than in Brazil. I am doing well. The operation went well. Not only I am happy about that but also the club," said the centre back.
Naldo has already continued the rehab program he started in Brazil. "Since my injury of course I have lost some muscle mass in my injured leg. That has to come back with a build-up program," added Naldo.
"Boro" and Vander back, Pasanen not
In the meantime, his teammates trained outside on the pitch. Back among the teammates was midfielder Tim Borowski, who has overcome his flu from last week. Christian Vander also returned to full team training. Petri Pasanen however was unable to go on Tuesday with an infection, missing the both practice sessions.
