After a routine check-up a day earlier, Marko Marin returned to the training grounds Thursday morning 6 October 2011. "Everything is okay. I will be able to play tonight against Osnabrück," said Marin after a short session with the team. A day earlier, Marin had his muscular problems examined.
In addition to Marin, the rest of the Green-Whites who are not on national team duty hope to "move and remain in rhythm", as head coach Thomas Schaaf said. Werder will take on third division side Osnabrück at 7 p.m. at the TimePartner Arena in Cloppenburg (live on WERDER.TV and in live ticker on WERDER.DE). Osnabrück will make the trip without their head coach Uwe Fuchs as their former player will be attending an event in Wallenhorst. Osnabrück will be coached by Alexander Ukrow und Rolf Meyer.
