There was good news in the morning hours on Wednesday 16 November 2011 even though training did not take place until the afternoon as Marko Marin and Predrag Stevanovic were able to complete an intensive running session. But both will have to wait for a return to team training.
Stevanovic returned to the pitch after sitting out with Achilles tendon issues for some time. And the young Serb was in high spirits. "It's getting better all the time. I hope that I can be fit as quickly as possible," said Stevanovic.
Captain Clemens Fritz however had to leave training early as he complained of bad headaches during the session. Afterwards the 30-year-old said there was nothing to worry about. "It's nothing major. I will be back tomorrow," said Fritz. Marko Arnautovic and Sebastian Prödl were also not at training as their flight back to Vienna Tuesday night following Austria's international match in Ukraine (a 2-1 defeat) was cancelled due to heavy fog.
