M - Münster: Klaus Filbry was born in Münster and after his pre-college studies he bounced around the United States and Great Britain. From 1994 for 16 years, he had a number of top positions for Adidas AG in Europe and North America before his path led to Bremen. Since January 2010, Filbry has served as manager for Marketing, Management and Finances with Werder. "When I look at his CV, I see it's very Werder-like. He played with only one club and always remained very loyal to his employer. He is the right man as the difficult successor of Manfred Müller. I am looking forward to working with him," said Klaus Allofs.
N - Naldo, come back soon: When will the months of suffering finally end? When will the knee finally hold up? When will Ronaldo Aparecido Rodrigues, or Naldo, finally come out of the players' tunnel of Werder Stadium and play again with his teammates? A lingering knee injury has kept the 28-year-old centre back out of action since the pre-season. Pain started rearing its ugly head already back in April. Head coach Thomas Schaaf reminded the media recently just how much the Brazilian defender is missed. "He is a very important factor will all his qualities and he has not been available at all. That is of course a reason that things are not running so smooth for us," said the coach. Naldo, come back soon!
O - Overtime for East Curve: Just a bit more patience as the "home match for the future" is coming ever closer. In April 2008, the Werder bosses opened the start of renovations of the "new" Werder Stadium with a 3D presentation. Now, in December 2010, it's nearly complete. Piece for piece, the completion of the new stadium nears. During the manager talks as part of the "Day of the Fans", manager Klaus Filbry reiterated once again that "work is being done 24/7 in shift system on the stadium renovations." Especially so that the East Curve can glitter in full grandeur. "When it's completed we will have one of the most beautiful stadiums in Germany in a unique location," said Filbry anticipatory towards the near future.
