The German Football League (DFL) has assessed the licensing documents from Werder Bremen GmbH & Co KG aA for the 2011-12 season and announced Tuesday it has once again issued the club a licence without conditions...

The German Football League (DFL) has assessed the licensing documents from Werder Bremen GmbH & Co KG aA for the 2011-12 season and announced Tuesday it has once again issued the club a licence without conditions.

The fact that Werder Bremen was issued a license for next season once again without conditions is just like in past years a very positive sign for how healthy the club is and how efficient we are working," said Klaus Filbry, Werder's manager for Marketing, Management and Finances.

In the licensing procedure, the applicant must fulfil various demands regarding their economic efficiency as well as criteria dealing with infrastructure, safety, media, legal, personnel/administration and sports.
