Temperatures of around 15 degrees, a training grounds as fine as a carpet and a hotel to fulfil every desire - those are Werder Bremen's training quarters in Belek, Turkey. "It would be entirely perfect if there weren't some other things - for example that injured players like Naldo and Wesley cannot be on hand. It was our wish when we went into the winter break to travel here with the complete team," said Klaus Allofs. But the manager said there is nothing lacking on the conditions on site.
"There are perfect conditions here and we are satisfied with everything," said the 53-year-old. "The pitch is good, the hotel as well - optimal conditions to prepare perfectly for the second half of the season." Fitting in with the good conditions is the atmosphere within the team. "It's super," said Allofs. "But the good spirits do not mean that the team doesn't have any cares. Everyone knows that we have to catch up and they all want to play a better second half."
