When Daniel Jensen came out of the changing room and was asked for autographs by some fans, the Danish international couldn't hide a small smile. That's not a big surprise since things had gotten quite quiet surrounding the 31-year-old, who has been battling with injuries this season. Due to knee injuries, he has been unable to play a single game this year. "The injury came as a result of my problems with the Achilles tendon," Jensen told media members at Weser Stadium. "I put too much weight on my knee when I ran. Now I have to work on my running style so problems don't come back."
"It's getting there"
Jensen is working out in his homeland on his comeback in hopes that the knee problems don't return and that he can finally break his injury spell. "It's getting there. It's definitely on the right way. My first goal is to get back to team training," said Jensen, who hopes to return soon to the Bundesliga. "I think it's possible. It's definitely more realistic than three weeks ago. The only thing that counts at the moment is coming back," said the Danish international
