The final stretch for the German U21 national team and qualification for the European Championship 2015 in Czech Republic is here and Werder's Özkan Yildirim is fighting for a play-offs spot.

The unbeaten German U21 team can book their ticket for the October 2014 play-offs for the 2015 European Championship with their two difficult away matches in Montenegro (15 November in Podgorica) and Romania (19 November in Giurgiu). A victory would be enough for the Germans to finish first in the qualification Group 6.
At the senior national team level, Austria and Bremen's Sebastian Prödl and Zlatko Junuzovic will take on Jürgen Klinsmann, Jermaine Jones and the United States in a friendly on 19 November in Vienna.

Theodor Gebre Selassie and Aleksander Ignjovski are also nominated for friendly matches. Gebre Selassie and the Czech Republic will take on Canada on 15 November in Ölmütz. Ignjovski and Serbia will travel to Dubai to play Russia on 15 November.

An interesting friendly will be played on 19 November in Leczna, Poland where the Polish U20 national team and Martin Kobylanski take on Niclas Füllkrug and the German U20 national team.
