After an almost 18,000 kilometer long journey, a Green-Orange fan package has finallly reached it’s destination: Auckland, New Zealand. The recipient of the parcel was ‘Wynton Rufer’s Soccer School of Excellence.’
The football school founded by the ex-Werder Bremen player, who won the European Cup Winner’s Cup back in 1992, has been offering youngsters in New Zealand the chance to improve their skills on the football pitch for over ten years now. “We will use the contents of the package as prizes for our ‘Player of the Day’. We hope to use this to motivate the lads to train and work hard on their game”, explained Rufer on receiving the gift.
